Installation Errors
A few issues may come up during installation. Below are the most common issues and their solutions.
Read the install instructions. Many times people run the first install command they see without reading the instructions fully and realising they are installing the wrong version of the program (eg installing Xtra instead of the Pro Suite or installing CPX when they have an Xtra license).
Remove older installers. Prior to running any of our installers it is best to run the following command to ensure older installers still on your system do not get used instead.
rm -rf xtra.sh;rm -rf cpx.sh;rm -rf pro.sh
"This installer is no longer valid" error message. This occurs when you attempt to run the old version of the installer, which has been removed.
